The Sakana Chair is loosely based on certain aesthetics of Japanese furniture and is designed to give off a modern, minimalistic look. The chair is completely made out of 1' x 2'' planks of pine wood save for the removable plexiglass fishtanks which sit on each side. Wooden lids cover the top of the tanks and drilled holes allow oxygen to flow within.
Made for Mickey Ackerman's Spacial Dynamics class.
